On May 28, 2025, Miura, in collaboration with Agencia Aduanal Guillermo Nogueira and through Index Mexicali, took part in a key meeting with the San Luis Río Colorado Customs Authority in Sonora.
This working session was designed to strengthen communication between the private sector and customs officials, aiming to improve operational flow and regional trade efficiency.

- A detailed presentation of challenges and concerns experienced by Index member companies at the customs office, including inspection times, inconsistent criteria, and logistical coordination.
- A response from customs officials explaining the reasons, legal basis, and operational constraints behind current procedures.
Thanks to the general’s openness and collaborative spirit, the meeting resulted in specific agreements to improve customs and trade operations—benefiting both importers/exporters and the customs authority itself.

El pasado 28 de mayo de 2025, Miura, en conjunto con la Agencia Aduanal Guillermo Nogueira y a través de Index Mexicali, participó en una importante reunión con la Aduana de San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora.
Esta mesa de diálogo tuvo como objetivo fortalecer la comunicación entre el sector privado y la autoridad aduanera, con el fin de mejorar el flujo operativo y la competitividad en la región fronteriza.

Temas abordados:
- Presentación de problemáticas específicas que los socios de Index han enfrentado en la aduana, relacionadas con tiempos de revisión, criterios de inspección y coordinación logística.
- Exposición por parte de la autoridad sobre los motivos, fundamentos normativos y limitaciones operativas detrás de ciertas prácticas aduaneras.
Gracias a la disposición abierta y colaborativa del General Gabriel Álvaro, se logró establecer acuerdos concretos para mejorar los procesos tanto para importadores y exportadores, como para la propia operación aduanera. Este tipo de acercamientos son clave para generar soluciones prácticas, basadas en el entendimiento mutuo y la voluntad de avanzar.
